who we are

Olearia Branca was born from the experience of four generations united by the love for nature and the passion for work. The common thread is the tradition handed down from father to son for the culture of quality oil .

 

The pioneer of the family is Eugenio Branca who in the early 1900s started the agricultural production of olive oil.

 

The passion inherited from his son Luigi will make the company born and grow by increasing the production of extra virgin olive oil.

 

The company is located in Cariati, along the coast of the Saracens, near the Nicà stream.

 

A dream realized with great sacrifice by the family's precursors and transformed by the new generations into a concrete reality, with the aim of ensuring high quality standards for the final product through cold pressing and careful monitoring of each production phase.

 

The third and fourth generation today inaugurate the family brand, starting the marketing and modernization of the historical activity, encouraging the production of extra virgin olive oil , obtained only with Italian organic olives , respecting the strict rules that regulate this recognition and improving production tools.

 

The young people of the family keep faith with the centenary tradition as an essential element for the realization of the product and aim at innovation as the natural development of productive progress.


Today's company is the result of experience in the agri-food field, of professionalism in trade and of continuous updating on new techniques of cultivation and production of oil, keeping firmly on the cardinal principles of the family.
